The idea for this piece was inspired by the special bond between two people. The swans represent closeness and togetherness, while the calligraphy “And We created you in pairs” gives the artwork its deeper meaning.
Layers of colour and texture, built entirely by hand, give the original its depth. As daylight changes, new traces emerge while the composition retains its understated presence.
