Display the work on a dry interior wall and avoid prolonged direct sunlight. Keep it away from radiators, fireplaces, air-conditioning units, cooking areas and damp rooms.

Every VEEM Atelier original is built by hand in layers of colour and texture. A calm location and considerate handling help protect its surface, tension and colour over time.
Everyday care
Four simple principles.
Room climate
Normal, reasonably stable living conditions of around 16 to 25 °C are suitable. Avoid very dry air below 35% relative humidity, high humidity and rapid, pronounced fluctuations.
Surface & cleaning
Do not touch or wipe the painted and textured surface. Never use water, cloths, brushes, vacuum cleaners, compressed air, household cleaners or solvents.
Secure hanging
Choose fittings and wall plugs for the wall type and artwork weight. Larger works should be installed by two people or a professional, and the fittings checked periodically.
Moving, storing and transporting
Protection begins before the first lift.
Lifting and moving safely
- Clear the route and prepare a safe resting place before moving the work.
- Wear clean, non-slip gloves and hold only the stretcher or stable outer edges.
- Never press on the painted front or the unsupported canvas reverse.
- Use at least two people for large or heavy formats.
Storage and future transport
- Store upright, dry and stable on a padded support.
- Keep the painted face clear; do not press objects or wrapping against it.
- Avoid attics, basements, damp exterior walls and pronounced temperature changes.
- Reuse the original protective packaging or contact VEEM Atelier before transport.
Stains or damage
Please do not clean or repair it yourself.
If the work is exposed to water, stained, knocked, cracked or shows lifting paint, stop handling it. Photograph the area and contact VEEM Atelier or a qualified paintings conservator.

The documentation remains with the original.
Keep the certificate of authenticity dry and protected, never in direct contact with the painted surface. If the work is sold, gifted, inherited or otherwise transferred, the artwork and certificate should remain together.
